The first major change in education for many years is happening. Schools are seriously looking at embracing new technologies to enhance the learning experience.
We, at St John's, are very fortunate to be building a new school at this exciting time. The school we are building will be completed by July 2010 and will not be like the schools of the past. It will not be a new "old" school but will be a 21st Century Centre of Learning.
St John's Catholic Comprehensive has three separate communities within the one school. The three communities are St Patrick, St Ambrose, and St Clare. Each community will be the learning base for a maximum of 380 pupils, thereby increasing the sense of family and security which can sometimes be lost in a school of over 1100 students. |
