Seizing the Day: 3 Ways to Make the Most of Daily Life
1. Have a game plan. Come up with a plan on how you intend to use the time you have for the day. Twenty-four hours may seem like much to delay action. But you have to take out the time needed for basic needs like eating, resting, and sleeping, you are left with fewer time to accomplish a lot of things. You need a game plan to make sure that every second, minute, and hour counts.
2. Do the most important and toughest tasks first. Don’t put off doing the most important things just because they seem tedious. It is much better to grab a goal by the horns and do it now instead of waiting for the right time or mood. The upside of finishing the most unpleasant tasks first is that it can boost confidence and motivation to tackle the rest of the things you need to do for the day.
3. Less overthinking, more action. The trouble with overthinking is that it gets in your own way. If you want to accomplish something, you have to develop the self-discipline to stop overthinking in its tracks and move on to taking action. Of course there are no guarantees that you will succeed all the time. But it keeps you moving forward. And that is what gets more things done every single day.
