All students will be issued with a swipe card and lanyard on their first day in September which will provide them with e-registration, access control, printing credits and cashless catering.
As a “myfair” card it holds no monetary value and, if lost or mislaid, can be replaced at a cost of £5.00.
Students will be required to “credit” their cards in order to purchase any food and drink provision and will be able to do this via charging machines within the school. At this current time students will only able to use cash in the charging machines, no other means of payment is available.
Students eligible for free school meals will have their cards automatically credited by the school.
It will not be possible to purchase any food or drink without the use of swipe cards. Cash will not be accepted at the tills.
