Do you work in the Creative and Media Industries? Would you be willing to come in and give a talk to a small group of students about your job and career path?
The Creative and Media teachers are seeking links to the Creative industries in order to help our students understand what the working world is really like. We would like anyone who has any links with the creative industries, in any career or job role, who would be willing to help us build up a network of willing people to come and visit the school or offer work experience placements to contact us here at St Johns. Any help would be appreciated.
Please contact the Director of Learning, Ms J Chipol, or the Director of Vocational Studies, Mrs S Parsons if you think you can help us in any way.

On the 14th September Archbishop Paul Smith will officially open the new school building. There will be a Liturgy starting at 11.00 am for the whole school and invited guests. Under the circumstances the school will not be able to provide food or snacks for pupils (except for students who have free school meals). Students will leave school after the Liturgy, at 12.30 pm. School coaches have been arranged for this time. A few students will be asked to stay for the afternoon to help, a letter will be sent to the parents of these students, and they will be asked to bring a packed lunch. |

Staff moved into the new building on the morning of 14th July. Mr Peter Queree cut the ribbon and made the first foot print into the new school.
