The Library is a quiet area for private or small group study and revision. There are hundreds of resources available to students, staff and visitors as well as notebook computers in the learning zone. The Library is open all day for sixth form, and is staffed by the librarian team at break and certain days after school for students in younger years.
Opening times
For all students
- Break time everyday (10:45-11:05)
- Tuesdays and Thursday (3:15-4:00)
- Wednesday (2:25-3:15)
For Sixth Form
Sixth Form students can use the Library throughout the day, for quiet study and revision, apart from when the Library is booked for lessons or meetings. Sixth Form please be aware if you disturb other students or are found eating, you will be asked to leave. |

- Ask for help if you need it
- Be sensible and responsible when using the Library and avoid disturbing other people
- Please place bags under the table
- There is no eating and drinking, however water will be allowed as long as care is taken
- Have all resources recorded at the front desk before you leave
- Return all books to the box on the front desk, so that others may enjoy them (Remember you can have the resource renewed if you haven't quite finished them) |

Students in year 7 to year 11
- students may borrow one fiction and one non-fiction book at a time
Students in Sixth Form
- Students may borrow two fiction, 2 non-fiction and one other book
Resources can be borrowed for 2 weeks
